Every session is one-on-one with a tutor who adjusts in the moment. Nothing is guessed, and nothing advances until a skill is truly mastered. For math that means hands-on Math-U-See work, so the idea is concrete before the calculation.

We reassess every six months and report results in the same language used in a formal evaluation, so progress is measured, not guessed. With your permission we share results with your child’s school team.

Math tutoring: what parents want to know first
Which math program do you use?
For math we use Math-U-See, a hands-on program that connects mathematical ideas with representations your child can work with. Everything is one-on-one, at your child’s pace.
Does my child need a dyscalculia diagnosis to start math tutoring?
No. A diagnosis is welcome, but it is never required to enroll. Any family looking for help with reading, writing, spelling, homework, or math is welcome to start with a free consultation. Our screening and assessment show us where your child stands, and we start there.
What happens at the first visit?
The first visit is free. We start with a short interview about your child’s history and goals, then a Math-U-See assessment. You leave with real information about your child and a clear plan, whether or not you decide to enroll.
Can you support my child’s school goals, IEP, or 504 plan?
Yes. We are glad to understand the goals in your child’s IEP or 504 plan and support them, and with your permission we can share screening and progress results with your child’s school team, so everyone is pulling in the same direction.
