What to expect
The first visit is free
We begin with a short interview about your child’s history and goals, a short screening, and a baseline assessment. You leave with a clear plan, whether or not you decide to enroll.
Read the full FAQOne-on-one, every time
Every session is one-on-one with a tutor who adjusts in the moment. Nothing is guessed, and nothing advances until a skill is truly mastered. For homework that means a clear first step, one task at a time, and the skill behind the task when it is the real obstacle.
How we teachProgress you can see
We reassess every six months and report results in the same language used in a formal evaluation, so progress is measured, not guessed. With your permission we share results with your child’s school team.

Questions families ask
Homework help is one-on-one tutoring aimed at current assignments. We break tasks into manageable steps, work on study habits, and teach the reading, writing, or math skill behind the task when that is what is slowing your child down.
Both. We tutor in person at our Saint Paul and Oakdale locations, and online over Zoom. For Barton reading students, online sessions become available once they have completed levels one and two. We offer online math support as well. Homework help is in person only.
Students can begin as early as kindergarten, and we work with learners all the way through college. We screen young learners to catch difficulties early and tailor instruction at every stage.
The first visit, including the consultation, screening, and baseline assessment, is free. Ongoing tutoring varies with each student’s needs, so we share detailed pricing through our contact form or at your consultation, with no surprises. If cost is a worry, ask about the Irene Turner Christy Scholarship.
Tell us about your child in the form. After submitting, choose a time on our calendar to talk through your concerns and tutoring options.
